The largest beach is Marina Grande, with a beach resort and very close to the city centre. Lively and full of life, Marina Grande beach is ideal for those who want to enjoy sunbathing on a beach close to restaurants, bars, and two minutes from the Cathedral and shops.
The Marina Grande beach is ready to welcome people with disabilities through a free service operating from June to October from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 a. m. to 5:30 p.m., with 4-hour shifts between morning and afternoon.
The equipped beach has walkways to the sea, showers and toilets, as well as specialized equipment, such as: 4 floating chairs, 1 Job chair, 6 sunbeds, 6 umbrellas, and 6 director’s chairs. Each station can be occupied by the user and a maximum of 2 companions.
