70th Historical Regatta of the Ancient Maritime Republics | the Program

Seventy years of history, pride and tradition are once again intertwined. Amalfi, Pisa, Genoa and Venice, the four City States, return to compete in the Historical Regatta.
This edition marks an important milestone: seven decades of an event that combines past and present, sports and entertainment, in an atmosphere that captivates thousands of spectators each year.

10 p.m., “Frankie and canthina band” in concert at Piazza Duomo in Amalfi

5:45 p.m., Rowing Palio with female crews starting from the Marmorata stretch of water and finishing in Atrani
6 p.m., Presentation of the crews of the 70th edition of the Regatta ARMI in Piazza Umberto I in Atrani
7:30 p.m., Departure of the Historical Procession of the Ancient Maritime Republics, with parade from Atrani to Amalfi
A close passage of the “Vespucci,” a training ship of the Italian Navy, in Amalfi Bay is planned during the Historical Parade.
8:30 p.m., Arrival of the Historical Procession of the Ancient Maritime Republics on the steps of the Cathedral in Amalfi
11:45 p.m., Fireworks display over the bay of Amalfi
