Amalfi in Jazz – Gegè Telesforo on Jazz Radio

The Amalfi in Jazz festival concludes with one of the most influential figures on the Italian and international jazz scene. Gegè Telesforo brings “Jazz Radio” to Amalfi, an original and engaging show that blends the charm of live music with the intimate and informal atmosphere of a radio talk show.
The stage transforms into a creative and dynamic space, somewhere between a recording studio and a radio studio, where music, storytelling, improvisation, and dialogue intertwine to create a unique experience. The audience doesn’t just attend a concert; they become part of Telesforo’s artistic world, sharing in the creative process, the energy of the live performance, and the spontaneity that define jazz.
Accompanying the artist is an extraordinary ensemble of top-tier musicians: Gegè Telesforo on vocals and percussion, Vittorio Solimene on piano, Francesco Fratini on trumpet, Lorenzo Simoni on saxophone, Giulio Scianatico on bass, and Valerio Vantaggio on drums.
An event celebrating the expressive freedom of jazz, bringing the Amalfi in Jazz festival to a close with an evening of great music, improvisation, and extraordinary talent, set against the picturesque backdrop of Piazza Duomo.
