The Belvedere di S. Lorenzo, given this nickname in 2019, dominates the city, giving visitors a wonderful and fascinating vantage point unlike any other, and spectacular any time of the day, especially at sunset.
It can be reached in two ways: by means of very convenient public elevators that can be accessed from Piazza Municipio and that allow you to reach the top of the Belvedere in a minute, or by taking a walk through the path consisting of about 400 steps, a choice, however, that is not recommended for people who are “untrained,” but a decidedly fascinating and unique option for those who feel ready for the climb. Along the way, you will be surrounded by the typical, authentic Amalfi setting, made up of narrow streets, panoramic views at different heights and characteristic corners.
