In Amalfi, there is a celebration that, more than any other, illustrates the deep connection between the city, its history, and its faith: the Feast of Saint Andrew<\/strong>, dedicated to the city\u2019s patron saint, Saint Andrew the Apostle.<\/p>\n

Twice a year\u2014 on June 27 and November 30<\/strong> \u2014Amalfi comes together and comes alive to pay homage to the saint, a central figure in the community\u2019s religious and cultural tradition. The streets, the cathedral, and the square become the heart of a collective ritual that has been passed down for centuries.<\/p>\n

The devotion to Saint Andrew in Amalfi dates back to 1208<\/strong>, the year in which the Apostle\u2019s relics were brought to the city from Constantinople. Since then, Amalfi has proudly cherished this spiritual bond, turning the celebration into an event that draws large crowds every year.<\/p>\n
