\"\"The Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) starts in the hamlet of Bomerano (Agerola), located in the heart of the Lattari Mountains, and ends in the upper part of Nocelle (Positano), crossing valleys entirely terraced with vineyards, Mediterranean scrub and sheer cliffs overlooking the sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Path of the Gods takes its name from the legend that Greek gods crossed this path to save Ulysses from the Sirens who were on the island of Li Galli. <\/span><\/p>\n

The scents of nature accompany all along the way, where there will be no shortage of protective structures for the most challenging stretches, fresh water sources, comfortable benches in wood and panoramic terraces from which to admire the Faraglioni of the island of Capri, Punta Penna, Li Galli and Monti Lattari. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"Amalfi_Pogerola_CastrumThe Pogerola Circuit is a discovery of an undiscovered Amalfi: a hiking trail of medium difficulty of about 8 km.<\/p>\n

Starting from the main square of the village of Pogerola, a hamlet of Amalfi situated on the hill of Mount Falconcello, one passes through the typical vaulted houses of the village of Pigellula and San Michele Arcangelo, a unicum of deconsecrated church with a Greek cross plan. The view of the Valley of Mills and the villages of Scala and Ravello will be a truly memorable experience.<\/p>\n

The trail enters the heart of Amalfi’s chestnut groves at the Tavernate locality, a place that is the guardian of ancient agricultural traditions, passing among the ruins of ancient monasteries, following millennia-old mule tracks.<\/p>\n

After a dip in the woods, the circuit continues past the Acquolella spring, reaching its highest point, and then continues down to Madonna dei Fuondi. Here the path has an unparalleled panorama, with a bird’s eye view of Amalfi, ranging from Conca dei Marini to Maiori. Return to the Amodio Square in Pogerola.<\/p>\n

What could be better than a nice lunch after an exciting trek? Hostaria Acquolina in Pogerola is a taste atelier where you can enjoy an authentic culinary experience characterized by typical and genuine flavors accompanied by a fusion touch and innovative techniques.<\/p>\n

After lunch, the return to Amalfi via the downhill stairs of Via Nuova provides a 2km nature trail that takes about 30 minutes to reach the town center.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"\"The Ancient Ferriere Valley itinerary will lead along the paths, once trodden by ancient traders, of the protected nature reserve leading from the Lattari Mountains toward Amalfi. Along the way we pass through forests, streams, lemon groves, ancient paper mills and the ruins of ancient medieval “ferriere” (ironworks) dating back to the Maritime Republic of Amalfi. <\/span><\/p>\n

Surprising is the variety of flora and fauna that make the Ferriere Valley a unique habitat whose climatic conditions favor the growth of specimens of Woodwardia radicans, an ancient fern dating back to the ice age, and the presence of several animal species, most notably the so-called spotted salamander.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the way back, there will be a chance to stop at Fore Porta farm to taste Mamma Carmela’s local delicacies. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
