DESCRIPTION:One of the most enchanting events of Amalfi’s summer schedule is back: Sunset Concert – Promenade to the South. \nPromenade a Sud is a hopeful journey through the musical tradition of the South\, through the ancient and magical melodies of villanelle\, moresche and popular cunti with the engaging rhythms of our musical heritage from Campania\, all of Southern Italy and the entire Mediterranean basin. This musical journey certainly cannot miss a window dedicated to the great classical Neapolitan song\, from the art of the twentieth-century postmen to contemporary composers such as De Simone\, Bennato and Faiello. A concert that draws from both the vast popular and cultured worlds\, delicate and elegant. The use of classical instruments\, such as the flute\, and those of tradition\, such as the chitarra battente and the ciaramella\, evokes and cites the timeless ancestral sounds that have always been an expression of our deepest being. Featuring Matteo Mauriello\, Marianita Carfora\, Sossio Arciprete\, Vincenzo Laudiero\, Fulvio Gombos\, Gianluca Mercurio and Sergio Sivori as voice actors.

DESCRIPTION:Concert by The Little Popular Orchestra C.O. Panzillo \nThe Piccola Orchestra Popolare C.O. Panzillo was founded in 2001 among fans of music and poetry\, both cultured and traditional\, from the Campania area. The diverse musical tastes of the group’s members have resulted in a varied repertoire\, both vocal and instrumental\, that places more well-known songs alongside others of merit. The idea behind the performances of the musical septet is to represent the composite and articulate forms of Neapolitan music by offering the viewer the opportunity to listen to it in the form of a brief compendium. The precise artistic slant\, toward a path that is also philological in nature\, determines that each piece is performed in the rigor of the original styles and intentions of the time\, while not forgoing personal but respectful interpretations.
