DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, Jan. 2\, the city comes alive with the New Year’s Folk Amalfitan\, an afternoon dedicated to the colors\, sounds and steps that tell the soul of our area. \nFrom 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.\, the O’ Marenariello Folk Group will set off from Cardinal Marino del Giudice Street\, bringing music and joy to Cathedral Square\, where they will perform amid applause and a festive atmosphere. \nFollowing this\, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.\, it will be the Atrani Folk Group that will fill the streets of Amalfi with an engaging parade that will again culminate in Piazza Duomo\, transforming it into a small open-air theater. \nAn afternoon combining community\, tradition and wonder-the best way to greet the New Year together.
