DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, December 31 \n\n\nh 15:30\, Amalfi – Piazza Duomo \n\n\n#NYEAMALFI – Italy’s longest New Year’s Eve. \n\n\nIn the afternoon\, officially opening the Amalfi Coast New Year’s Eve will be DJ Eddie J Warner’s Happy Music Selection\, setting the pace and excitement that will mark the beginning of the long day of festivities. \n\n\nh 18:00\, Amalfi – Cathedral \n\n\nHoly Mass and singing of the Te Deum \n\n\nh 22:30\, Amalfi – Piazza Flavio Gioia \n\n\n#NYEAMALFI – Italy’s longest New Year’s Eve. \n\n\nThe wait for the longest Midnight of the year will be enlivened by the Karaoke of Nicolò De Devitiis\, a well-known TV face straight from Le Iene\, who will accompany the audience in a crescendo of music and fun until the stroke of the New Year. The evening will be enhanced by Fabio Anastasio’s DJ set and led by the voice and conducting of Francesca Faratro. There will be no shortage of tradition\, thanks to the participation of the Gruppo Folk Amalfitano ‘O Guagliunciello\, which will bring the authenticity and warmth of local culture to the square. \n\n\nh 00:00\, Amalfi \n\n\nFireworks display \n\n\nThe fireworks show is by the award-winning firm Pirotecnica Cav. Vincenzo Senatore and Sons \n\n\nh 00:30\, Amalfi – Piazza Duomo \n\n\n#NYEAMALFI – Italy’s longest New Year’s Eve. \n\n\nAfter midnight\, the square will be rekindled with new energy thanks to the overwhelming entertainment of Nicolò De Devitiis\, whose unmistakable style will accompany the audience through the long night of celebrations. Following this\, music by The Muppets will give rhythm and color to the early hours of the new year\, turning the square into a large open-air stage. The Muppets are one of Italy’s most sought-after party bands\, stars of events for brands such as Google and Red Bull and of shows in some of the most evocative locations in Europe and the Mediterranean\, bringing to the stage an explosion of energy that mixes ’70s/’80s/’90s hits\, rock\, pop and the most current dance. With frontmen Martina and Francesco\, talent and stage presence are transformed into an overwhelming live show\, designed to light up the squares and make every generation dance The night will then continue with DJ Filippo Di Costanzo’s Music Selection\, for an alternation of sounds and atmospheres capable of keeping enthusiasm high until the first light of dawn. \n\n\nIn collaboration with Amalfi Events
