DESCRIPTION:Carnival here in Amalfi is definitely always magical\, but this year it will be even more special\, spectacular\, unique and ..bewitched\, because we will all be living in the magical World of Harry Potter! \nFor three days\, the city will be transformed for a unique experience aimed at young and old alike. \nHere is the full program: \nSunday\, March 2\, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in Compass Square with the Urban Circus Theater and Comedy Show with the Red Dwarfs and their street theater. One of the best square theater companies in a unique\, never-before-seen show: a workhorse and at once a manifesto of identity and quality. \nOn Monday\, March 3\, 2025 at 4 p.m. in Piazza Duomo there will be a performance by the dance groups of the Grand Carnival of Maiorese\, a parade and award ceremony of the Amalfi Masks\, in the company of Inside Out Mascots. \n Tuesday\, March 4\, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Arsenal of the Republic special “family experience” with theAcademy of Magicians. All children will be able to step into the shoes of wizards from the four most famous houses in the world\, participate in a lesson in spells and potions and more\, and finally receive a magic wand and a certificate of Aspiring Magician. The show will take place in two rounds (the first at 10:30 a.m. and the second at 11:45 a.m.) to allow all children to participate. \nThe great collaboration with the Grand Carnival of Maiori\, among the historic carnivals of Italy\, continues\, celebrating its 51st edition this year\, in a consolidated bond between the two municipalities\, making Carnival on the Amalfi Coast a point of attraction. \nAs always\, all events in Amalfi\, at the behest of the Milan Administration\, will be free admission. \nPrepare your costume\, hone your magical skills and be transported to a world of enchantment and wonder! \nAlohomora to fun!

Three days of great celebration: Tuesday\, Feb. 13\, Friday\, Feb. 16 and Saturday\, Feb. 17. \nA program full of excitement and merriment\, activities promoted by the Municipal Administration led by Mayor Daniele Milano\, with the sole purpose of having fun and more fun. There is no limit to the imagination\, and the Amalfitan Carnival awaits everyone\, from the youngest to the youngest. \n“…a mix of creativity\, choreography and energy\, through the most beautiful sights of Amalfi\, including street parades\, storytelling magicians\, fantastic stories\, masks\, clowns\, rhythms\, colorful tricks and eccentric masks\, without forgetting the great folk traditions…” \nThe city is dressed up\, you will see it more beautiful than ever! \nFollowing is the program: \n\nMardi Gras\, Feb. 13\, 2024 at 11 a.m. will be all about families with the show “What World Is If Carnival Isn’t There” at the Arsenal of the Republic\, including music\, actors\, merry puppets and King Carnival himself.\nOn Friday\, Feb. 16\, 2024 at 4 p.m. in Piazza Duomo\, excitement and energy with the Grand Carnival Maiorese Dance Groups and the most beautiful and original Amalfi Masquerades.\nOn Saturday\, Feb. 17\, the interactive concert “An Orchestra for Carnival.
