DESCRIPTION:Presentation of the book ‘Armonia Amalfitana’ by Gaetanina Longobardi \nThe Middle Ages reflect the life of the young Susanna\, the evolution necessary to discover one’s own limits and to feel a bond that reaches back to us. Because the places that witness the fighting are just opposite\, the love that nails Susanna’s heart lives between Salerno and Amalfi\, and men still pretend to dominate the blue sea. The response of those who love is always the same\, to return to the familiar lands of the Amalfi Coast\, and to achieve this goal there is the violence of the new war\, a fight forgotten in the huge open spaces where gigantic armies clashed. Now the 9th-century fortification is pursuing new assault strategies\, a defence of the walls of Salerno and Literna Palus against the common Saracen enemy. The struggle for supremacy sees new political realities forming as freeing oneself from foreign dependence takes on a new flavour as important as choosing love.

DESCRIPTION:Presentation of the new edition of Salvatore Quasimodo’s ‘Elogio di Amalfi’ by Vito Pinto \n56 years later and on the 120th anniversary of his birth\, in order to preserve and not fade the memory of the poet\, but above all so that the traces of this precious Elogio\, the text is reprinted in a new\, high-quality edition\, on Amalfi bambagina paper\, with the original text in Italian and a translation in English\, and with an ink drawing in the centre specially made by Lorenzo Maria Bottari\, a Sicilian painter working in Milan who has already produced works dedicated to Salvatore Quasimodo.
