Das Gebiet der Amalfi-Ortsteile zeichnet sich durch zahlreiche Kirchen und mittelalterliche Bauwerke aus, die als &#8220;a volta&#8221; (Gew\u00f6lbe) bekannt sind und in denen man sich wie in eine andere Zeit zur\u00fcckversetzt f\u00fchlen kann. Die Weiler k\u00f6nnen zu Fu\u00df entlang der antiken Via Maestra dei Villaggi besucht werden: eine mittelalterliche Stra\u00dfe, die Amalfi mit seinen D\u00f6rfern verbindet. Es ist das Dorf, das den Stadtmauern am n\u00e4chsten liegt und von dem aus man einen der eindrucksvollsten Ausblicke der Gegend genie\u00dfen kann. Der Blick von der Kirche Maria SS. Assunta in Cielo, die an ihrem einzigartigen, meergr\u00fcn gekachelten Glockenturm zu erkennen ist, ist gepr\u00e4gt von den f\u00fcr die K\u00fcstenregion typischen Terrassen und kleinen H\u00e4usern.<br \/>Unbedingt sehenswert ist die Kirche Santa Maria del Carmine aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, in der das Fresko der &#8220;Flucht nach \u00c4gypten&#8221; und mehrere Heiligenstatuen aus dem 19.<\/p>\n<p>Der Ortsteil <strong>Vettica Minore<\/strong>, nicht zu verwechseln mit Vettica Maggiore in der Gemeinde Praiano, liegt zwischen Amalfi und Conca dei Marini.<br \/>Dieses kleine Dorf, nur 2,87 km von Amalfi entfernt, bietet nat\u00fcrliche Ausblicke auf Kalksteinfelsen, darunter den ber\u00fchmten Strand Santa Croce, der nur auf dem Seeweg zu erreichen ist, und den ber\u00fchmten Bogen der Liebenden, an dem man sich unbedingt k\u00fcssen sollte. Der Wachturm aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und eine Tafel aus dem 14.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn man von Vettica Minore aus die Treppe hinaufsteigt, gelangt man nach <strong>Tovere<\/strong>, dem einzigen Dorf neben Pogerola, das nicht vom Meer umsp\u00fclt wird. Meer und auf den Berg.\n\n\nPogerola war einst eine Burg, von der heute nur noch ein Teil der Mauern und zwei T\u00fcrme erhalten sind. In der Gegend gibt es eine Reihe mittelalterlicher Kirchen, wie die von Santa Marina Vergine, San Michele Arcangelo und Madonna delle Grazie, von denen aus man \u00fcber eine Treppe zur\u00fcck nach
